This describes the process to install the following extensions on the Arc resource for the Kubenetes clusters created
Data controller in direct connect mode
Custom location for deployment to the different clusters
App services extension (preview)
It is recommended to use a Log Analytics Workspace
This is because after you setup these services, it is much more difficult to add on later
Once these are installed you can now deploy apps, functions, and managed SQL to the new custom location
You can do this through the UI, or here is an article explaining the steps for an app service
